One of the most exciting features of every new Football Manager update is the flood of new wonderkids to its database.
By signing and nurturing young, high potential players until they are the next Christiano Ronaldo, you can catapult your team to Premier League glory. However, it can be tough to pick these wonderkids out from the crowd, as many of these young players’ attributes won’t stand out at first.
Fear not, we’ve picked out the top 10 wonderkids that you should consider snapping up and developing into the next international superstars this season.

Marcus Rashford (Manchester United)
Born and raised in Manchester, Marcus started playing for Moss Rangers at the age of five, and was then recruited by the Manchester United academy at the age of seven. In 2016, Rash became the youngest English player to score in his first senior international match.
With attributes like 17 for flair and 16 for determination, it’s no surprise that the Brazilian player Ronaldo is Rashford’s idol. With 18 for acceleration and 17 for pace, this striker will prove an invaluable addition to your squad.

Phil Foden (Manchester City)
For Manchester City’s Phil Foden, the sky is the limit. ‘Pep’s Lad’ game is characterised by his rare creativity, as supported by stats of 16 for flair, 16 for vision and 15 for dribbling, and is complemented by his dangerous ability to threaten the goal from afar, with his stat of 14 for long shots. However, having been with Manchester City since he was nine, he won’t be given up without a fight.

Kylian Mbappé (Paris Saint-Germain)
Paris-born Kylian Mbappé is the biggest and strongest wonderkid on Football Manager 2019. Kylian’s stepbrother, Jirès Kembo Ekoko, and Cameroonian father, Wilfred, encouraged his young football talent before he was signed by the famed “Clairefontaine” Academy. With a staggering pace of 20, acceleration of 19 and flair of 18, Kylian will be one of the hottest players of 2019.

Mateusz Bogusz (Leeds United)
This Polish-born midfielder is the latest signing to Leeds United. Transferring from the Polish third division, Leeds have spotted this talent from a mile off. With a first touch of 16, Mateusz’s technicality has not gone unnoticed by Football Manager. With a potential ability of 140, trumping Leeds United’s Pontus Jansson’s current ability of 132, Mateusz could well be the club’s next star player.

Gabriel Jesus (Manchester City)
This Brazilian-born striker is biting at the heels of the Argentinian heavyweight Sergio Aguero. His youth coaches said that he never missed a drill in training or match when he was playing for Pequeninos do Meio Ambiente. Stats of 17 off the ball, 17 agility and 16 finishing, combined with a current weekly wage of £90,000 a week means this wonderkid is firmly on the transfer market for the coming season.
